Our History:
Founded in the year 1890 by Shri Kokan Mal Johari, a visionary and socially active individual, KMBD Jewellers has a remarkable legacy that spans over a century. Shri Kokan Mal Johari, known for his involvement in the diamond trade, faced significant challenges during the Mutiny, resulting in the loss of his property and business. However, his perseverance and passion for jewellery continued to drive him forward.
The Haveli:
Nestled in the heart of Chandni Chowk, KMBD Jewellers finds its roots in the iconic Kokan Mal Ki Haveli. Built in 1890, this magnificent structure stands as a testament to the architectural brilliance of that era. The haveli features a semi-circular arched sandstone gateway, leading to a central courtyard surrounded by beautifully designed semi-circular arched rooms. The impressive sandstone frontage showcases the meticulous craftsmanship and attention to detail.
